Japonais Snow Flower

We were very excited to get hold of this new batik which reminds us of the recent snowfall and the serenity of the Japanese snow flower.  It is a designer batik by Julius Holland, renowned for their high quality wax print batiks. The weave means that the cotton is slightly heavier than most/ regular wax print batiks.

We couldn't wait until the new year to use it and share our love of this print with you - here for our lovely blog followers is a sneak preview of images before listing on our store:

It's All White.........

It is rare that we get such timely snowfall to coincide with the festivities. If it does come, it is usually in the new year.  With a delighted young heart, SisterBatik is revelling in the pretty blanket of white and yesterday, wrapped up warm to kick about and pirouette in the snow.  Here are some images I took to share - with love from SisterBatik xx

UK Royal Mail have issued these last recommended shipping dates if you want to receive your items by the festivities:

Friday 10 December - International Airmail to USA, Canada and Eastern Europe

Monday 6 December - International airmail to South and Central America, Caribbean, Africa, Middle East, Asia, Far East, Australia & New Zealand

Monday 13 December - International airmail to Western Europe.

These are recommended dates, we will still ship items purchased after these dates, but expect delays to the normal shipping schedule and please don't be cross with Santa!

A Statement Piece.....

We were so excited to have found this Persian Floral design batik, we wanted to make something extra special.

This luxury pillow cover has an additional inside lining made of natural cotton, giving this cover a luxe decor fabric feel.  Different sections of the same fabric have been used for each side of the pillow, giving different images which perfectly complement each other.  We think this will be a favorite for a long time!

With our usual "Invisible" zip, so that either side of the pillow may be displayed.  Superbly comfortable and huggable!
